A picky eater with lots of allergies and her friend visit Fork and Fire
Townies
I am a townie. Raised in the town where I currently live, I am passionate about the people, places, and general goings on. My neighbor Phyllis, who has lived in town for over fifty years, is equally passionate. So much so, that she regularly fights for those that can’t and enthusiastically serves on our Town Council. Because we are neighbors, we decided to carpool to Farmington which is environmentally smart. We enjoyed conversation about our lives and our town. Shying away from gossip and sticking to the facts, we agreed on all points.
Out of Town
Phyllis suggested we dine at Fork & Fire. A chic farm to table establishment tucked into the corner of a little plaza, the restaurant is much larger than it appears. A grand bar with high top tables greets you as you enter the dimly lit space. Around the corner, the room opens up to a dining area with booths and tables warmed by the glow of fire set behind glass in the wall. Fork & Fire’s seasonal menu offers a variety of options for picky eaters and those with food allergies. Perfect for me and for Phyllis who has some food limitations of her own.
