Village Burger
Frankie B’s Tavern Review
No Problem Here Either
We all know I hate hamburgers. The only reason I order them is because I am either allergic or don’t like the other menu items. That said, I went ahead and ordered the Village Burger which is an eight ounce black Angus blend topped with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mayonniaise. I had the option of adding bacon, caramelized onions, mushrooms, or avocado, but I declined. The only thing appetizing to me was the brioche bun. So I ordered my burger, as I always do, medium well, no toppings. Surprisingly, this burger was very good. Settled perfectly into the nice buttered bun, the inside of the patty was the perfect shade of pale pink. It was juicy and it wasn’t dry; it was perfect. And the fries were good too! Super hot, but not spicy hot, burn your tongue hot. Slightly salted and perfect. It is very unusual for me to actually enjoy a burger, but the Village Burger at Frankie B’s Tavern earns a spot in my top five.
