Rare Comfort
To prepare for her AC Petersen review, Tara ordered the Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato sandwich on gluten free bread, mayo on the side, with a side of crinkle fries. This might be why we’re friends – she’s particular about her meals too. When Tara’s BLT arrived, the top bun contained a generous shmear of mayonnaise. Tara was not happy and I could completely relate. We like what we like and want what we want. The waitress returned the sandwish to the kitchen and it shortly reappeared as ordered with mayo on the side. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, but it was the bacon she enjoyed the most. She doesn’t have it often, so this AC Petersen dinner was a real treat. She doesn’t eat french fries very often either, so those seemed tasty as well. Her contagious smile kept me from being overly disappointed with my burger plus we mutually decided to get an ice cream sundae to end our dinner date. Just a scoop of chocolate chip ice cream covered with hot fudge, whipped cream, and a cherry. Perfection! Tara’s meal was definitely a hit.
