I’m a highly educated person, but I do not always make the best choices when deciding on a restaurant. This is why I rely on others to pick the place. Luckily for me, this is one of my wisest decisions. I ordered the Knucklehead and wasn’t sure what to expect. I mean the name doesn’t exactly scream that this is a smart choice. But wow! At least an inch thick on a large toasted bun, the patty was cooked perfectly. Slightly juicy, but tolerable. And hot! I didn’t know beef could get that hot! Also, the fries were hot! Like, burnt my tongue hot! I didn’t even eat them first like I usually do and somehow they retained their heat. And then I learned that Knuckleheads grinds their burgers in house – very impressive! I think it was pretty smart of me to invite an author to lunch – I made a new friend and learned about publishing. Clearly, I am anything, but a knucklehead! And honestly, any knucklehead is welcome to dine here, but I think you’re pretty smart if you do.
