A picky eater with lots of allergies and her friend give a Roux Review.
Angela’s Dish
Fried Pickles
and
Shrimp Po’Boy
All the Flavors
Angela began her meal and Roux review with an appetizer of fried pickles. These heavenly pillows of briney dill are encased in a perfect breading that is never soggy and never falls off. She gobbled up half of the treats before her shrimp po’boy arrived. Interesting fact – a po’boy is to the south what a grinder is to New England which is what a hoagie is to New Jersey which is what a sub is to the rest of the country. However you say it, Angela’s sandwich was stuffed with breaded shrimp smothered with Loup Garou, Roux’s signature gorgonzola sauce, held together inside a light roll. A side of the biggest sweet potato fries you’ve ever seen covered the remainder of the plate. Angela couldn’t put anything down, but between bites exclaimed how fresh and tasty all the food was. Roux definitely delivered and Angela was happy to take home what remained of her dinner for leftovers.
