A picky eater with lots of allergies reviews a plain burger at Stillwater Grill.
Build Your Own Burger

A Pleasant Drive
The menu had a couple burger options for me. I could order the Stillwater Burger with cheddar cheese, bacon, grilled egg, tater tots, onion straws, topped with a hot sauce or the Build Your Own Burger. I chose to build my own for two reasons: I wasn’t sure how I felt about tater tots on my burger (not that I would have gotten them anyway), and the Build Your Own was two dollars cheaper. Of course, my “build your own” was plain. I added nothing. Just a burger and a bun because that’s how I like it. The patty was a little thin for the brioche bun, but quite delicious! A touch of seasoning, but not overwhelming and definitely worth the wait. The fries were also pleasantly seasoned. They were crispy, twisty, and possibly homemade. Sadly,I only had one complaint. My burger bun was laying on cut pickle slices. I don’t like pickles and I certainly don’t like pickle juice on my brioche bun or any other food item that I intend to eat. Despite that, the burger and the company made for a very nice evening and I can’t wait to see what my little scout, Harlie, will do next.
