A picky eater with lots of allergies and her husband review The Library Bistro.
Steak Tips
A Good Read
Dan had previously looked at the menu and wasn’t thrilled with the options. But it was my birthday and I was in the middle of a library mission, so he thought he would settle on a burger. However, when we arrived, he was handed a list of specials and his eyes lit up. Marinated tenderloin tips with garlic mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus, and a chimichurri sauce. Dan took a bite and exclaimed, “Wow! That’s really good!” He was pleasantly surprised. A perfectly cooked medium rare, this might be his first five-star review. Dan is not a fan of garlic mashed potatoes, but the garlic was subtle and the potatoes were perfect. The overall ambiance was lovely – picturesque, historic, charming – but very loud. With the high ceilings and the table of cackling girls behind us, it was hard to enjoy conversation. However, the din didn’t diminish the quality of the meal.
