The waitress placed a large bowl of beef and noodles in front of Dan and he declared it perfection. I reminded him that he once said no food is perfect and he hadn’t even tasted it yet, but he just smiled and breathed in the steam. After his first bite, his smile filled his face. Comfort food at its finest. Large egg noodles covered in a creamy sauce mixed with very tender steak. Two slices of crostini anchored to the side of the bowl buttered, grilled, and while very good, not necessary with the huge portion. So five stars it is, but that may also be because Dan was exhausted and starving.
