A picky eater with lots of allergies reviews a plain burger Pastrami on Wry
Traditional Burger
No Kidding
No tongue in cheek with this review. Not this time! After a maddening beginning to the month of March, it was refreshing to dine with a good friend and enjoy an absolutely perfect burger. Reaching perfection status for my palate is no easy task, especially when I don’t even like burgers, but Pastrami on Wry fit the bill. Both literally and figuratively! A big bun surrounding a big burger which was devoid of any color or cow juice, yet still moist, very fresh, and very tasty! The bun was soft and fluffy and buttery and delicious. My burger came with an equally delicious side of homemade chips. Usually, homemade chips are just okay with a combination of soggy and burnt bits. But not these! Every bite was perfectly hot, crisp, and lightly salted. I don’t think I’ve ever devoured chips like this so fast. I also had a pickle on the plate, but no thank you. This picky eater shies away from mutated cucumbers. However, as I mentioned before, this burger fit the bill. The taste was fantastic and the low cost was just as delightful! And an afternoon enjoying a good meal with a good friend Like Brenda, I will also be dining here again very soon.
