A picky eater and her husband review Ray’s Seafood Shack.

Clam Chowder and Lobster Roll
Snappy
Dan loves seafood, but is also a very discerning eater. He likes his clam chowder hot, and while this clam chowder was very thick and very good, it just wasn’t hot enough. Dan often forgets how my star system works and quickly awarded the chowder a three before even tasting the rest of his meal. Before I had the chance to remind him of my rules, he chomped into the hot lobster roll. New England is known for lobster rolls, but in Connecticut they’re made piping hot with lots of butter on a split-top hot dog bun. It’s often difficult to find them this way elsewhere, but Ray’s Seafood Shack had them and Dan was thrilled. In the end, he rated his lunch a four, but only because the clam chowder wasn’t hot enough.
