Come Again
After I managed to pick my jaw off the floor and really appreciate the presentation of Dan’s Fisherman’s Platter, I eyed my own. A little crock of homemade chips and a huge burger rested neatly on a circular wooden board. It was adorable! The chips were a little overdone, but nicely salted and very tasty. The burger, probably the biggest burger I’ve ever seen, was fantastic! And for me to say it was fantastic is a major compliment! The Signature Burger comes with a ton of toppings, but oddly it was the cheapest burger on the menu, so that’s what I ordered. Minus all the toppings. Moist, charred, and an unexpected crunch from the grilled underside of the bun…Yum! However, and I never thought these words would come out of my mouth,a the top of the bun was way too buttery making my hands greasy and that is something I absolutely do not like. Still, this burger rates a 4.5 and the next time I return a proof copy to my publisher I will happily enjoy another burger at Boomerangs.
