Classic Roundabout Burger
Better the Second Time Around
As you may well know, I always start with the fries. Mainly because burgers scare me. I never know how my body will react, and I’ve never had a bad reaction to potatoes The server had barely released my plate, and my fingers were already snatching a fry. Hot. Very hot. But also very good. Perfectly seasoned with some kind of fried coating which added a slight texture and crunch to the homemade fries. When I decided to try the burger, I noted the toasted brioche bun was quite firm. I took a big bite and discovered the burger was quite good! And very hot! I burnt my entire mouth, but I didn’t care. I was so hungry and I inhaled that Roundabout Diner burger so fast. In fact, I found the dense bun tasted better with every bite. It was fantastic!
