Sarah ordered one of her favorite dishes on the menu – Guinness Stew. A modern take on an Irish classic, she ordered a small crock that was anything but small. A thick stew of turnips, tomatoes, carrots, and sweet potatoes along with chunks of tender short ribs, Sarah could taste the bittersweet beer in the thick, rich sauce. A side of soda bread rounded out the meal. Homemade with raisins, the bread was very hot and crispy from the grill. Not overly sweet, and really, really good.
